When you get ready to study, you probably break out your textbooks to get started. However, there are so many other great resources out there that you can use while you’re in nursing school. These are five of the best online resources that you should check out.

1. Nobelprize.org

Have you ever checked out the official Nobel Prize website? If not, you might be surprised by all of the great resources that it has to offer for both nursing students and working nurses. If you check out the educational tab on the website, you will be taken to a large selection of educational games. Many of them are medical-related and can help you learn more about the human body and medicine in general. Plus, you’re sure to find them to be a lot of fun. If you’re looking to take things a little more seriously, there are also research papers and videos for you to take a look at.

2. Nursing Times

The Nursing Times is a full-on resource for nursing students and already-practicing nurses. There are countless articles that you can read for reference purposes, and there are also games, links and more. Nursing Times also offers a “Break Time” session that can be great when you are taking a break from your studying and would like to read a few opinion pieces about the nursing industry. You’ll probably find that Nursing Times is a helpful resource from the day that you start school until you graduate and beyond.

It can be tough to focus on your English studies when you’re so busy with anatomy, physiology and other nursing classes.
